This house just wraps its arms around you the minute you walk in. Original exposed beams and wide pine floors give it a rustic cozy feel. The kitchen was recently renovated with cherry cabinets and granite countertops, so cooking is a joy. Lots of space. There is a large woodstove and a fireplace for warm evenings by the fire and a piano in the music room. For 240 years, this house has been well loved and has given it in return. She sits on a gorgeous dirt road surrounded by 40 acres of private woods and fields, yet we are 11 minutes from Bratttleboro's quaint bustle of stores and restaurants. If you visit in winter, we are not very far from ski resorts. I love this house and land and would love to have you experience the peace and natural beauty of Vermont. This is New England at its finest!
