We live in a modest colonial countryside home located in central NY. The area is well known for its historic roots to the Revolutionary War. There are historical sites throughout the area. Howe Caverns is another popular local attraction. Cooperstown, NY, a baseball fan’s dream town, is located 30 minutes away. The town is booming with baseball and the Hall of Fame is located in the center of it all. There are multiple state parks with beaches located in the area. NY City is about a 2.5 drive. There is a train station about 45 minutes away that travels to the city daily or drive a bit further south and catch the train for a shorter trip.
