Our home is historic within an historic neighborhood full of other beautiful old homes. Our home is simple, yet very functional. In addition to the two bedrooms, there is also a small nursery equipped with a rocking chair, changing table, and crib. The screened-in porch is perfect in most weather; we eat many of our meals there. The tree house is a huge hit with kids and adults alike! Our backyard overlooks Shelby Park and we like to walk, run, bike on the 20+ miles of greenway without ever needing to get in a car. The kids love the two playgrounds in the park as well as the nature center and nature play, all of which are within walking distance of our house. There is a small grocery steps from the house as well. Our neighborhood is very kid-friendly and is full of sidewalks. We are within walking distance of Five Points with lots of options for food and drink. Our neighborhood - East Nashville - is one of the hippest in the country right now! There are several highly rated restaurants (try Lockeland Table!) and bars (try Attaboy or Rosemary!) as well as independent galleries and shops. Shelby Park, steps from our home, has it all - 20+ miles of greenway, two playgrounds, nature center, nature play, community center, tennis courts, dog park, fishing, kayaking on the river, 18 hole golf course, and a farmer's market in the spring, summer, and fall. It is an historic neighborhood with plenty of sidewalks and beautiful old homes. The neighborhood is full of young families. We have a private yard which overlooks the park and has a screened-in porch and tree house. We love everything about our neighborhood and think you will, too!Other Information
